Welcome to
“The Friendly Church
on the Hill”!

Ministering the Gospel on the same location since 1878, our congregation is the oldest church in town. Known for decades to locals simply as “the friendly church on the hill”, our church strives to live up to our longtime nickname for the glory of Christ and the building of His Kingdom.

In our worship and our service, we desire to be the right mix of tradition and new, of generations of people coming together as the family of God to love the Lord and our neighbors to the best of our ability.

We have a long standing history of being involved with serving the poor, working with the local schools, and finding creative ways to reach our city and the surrounding areas with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

If you are looking to find answers about God from the Scriptures, or a community of ordinary people who are seeking to follow Jesus with all they’ve got, or a place to roll up your sleeves with others in order to love this city, then we invite you to come worship and fellowship with us!

Join us for Worship!

Sunday school: 10am (Nursery and Children’s Ministry opens at 9:50.)

*Our volunteers are screened and given background checks before being permitted to serve.

Sunday Worship: 11am

Our church takes worship and God seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.  Our atmosphere is friendly, casual, and worshipful.  Some people come dressed casually in jeans and t-shirt while others are wearing dresses or sports coats!  We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds looking for a place to connect, grow, worship, and serve.
